Icom's Certified IoT Devices

Icom's CONNECT devices, including IP501H, IP501M, and the VE-PG4, are approved and certified by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and PTCRB (PCS Type Certification Review Board).
Icom's CONNECT devices comply with global industry standards for wireless cellular devices and are interoperable with wireless networks. Our existing carriers fully approve Icom's
CONNECT devices.

PTCRB (PCS Type Certification Review Board)

With PTCRB certification, operators and device manufacturers are confident of a device’s interoperability with wireless networks. PTCRB certification verifies compliance with global industry standards for wireless cellular devices. The PTCRB Working Group within the CTIA Certification program defines the requirements. Member operators are committed to ensuring device quality through a rigorous certification process. Without PTCRB certification, manufacturers run the risk that their devices will perform poorly on wireless networks.
